Crazy-Ass Pastors Claim Secret Government Disclosure Meeting; Push "Aliens Are Demons" Rapture Cult Doctrine

For the first eighteen years of my life, I spent Sunday mornings at a Baptist megachurch. As a result, and for better or worse, I understand the "aliens are demons" mythology.
I was taught, however, that the little gray men will come after the Rapture. The aliens will descend and explain just how such a rapture could happen. Along with the Antichrist, the aliens will help bring order to the panicked Earthlings, but you must accept the Mark of the Beast. Or resist, get guillotined, and go live in Heaven with your awesome, loving God. Something like that.
Anyway, some Bible-humping pastors recently came out about a secret meeting. They claim they met some government officials. At an Airbnb? The officials, all devout Christians, warned the pastors of coming disclosure of "non-human intelligence," which is Bible code for angels or, in the case of aliens, most definitely demons. And some of the E.T.s have reptilian scales.
Shortly after this revelation (pun intended), some outspoken pastors spoke of another, second meeting, one which lacked the officials. An unofficial meeting, you could say. But some of the pastors were absolutely seriously at that first meeting. Right? Right.
(Really? This happened? Links provided at end of page for your own further research.)
I admit this whole thing really freaked me out at first, because this is what I had been taught. Have you read the Stormlight Archive? Oh, you'll watch the series instead? Okay. I don't think it's a spoiler to say that one character, raised in a cult as a child, is a bit overwhelmed when he grows old and the cult prophecies begin to fulfill around him. That's how I felt, at first. Holy Jesus! The government is warning the Christians! The aliens are coming! And they are demons!
I let some time pass, and decided these pastors saw the release of the UFO files in May 2026 as an opportunity to push their Rapture cultspeak. At least one of them apologized for lying recently. And if you listen to what they're saying, well, a lot of them are lying to themselves.
If this UFO meeting actually occurred, it does not mean rapture will. Or it's a psyops to distract the public and throw shit further into chaos. Aliens & demons are an excellent distraction from that troublesome billion-a-day war in Iran. And think of all the advertising revenue on FOX when they start talking aliens and demons to their Rapture-ready audience! Yeah, that's easier to believe than a loving God that smites the earth.
Or God is an insane alien who's been toying with us sapiens for millennia. Easier to believe.
I've read the gospels, as an adult, as a Pagan Buddhist Unitarian Universalist. I love the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus wanted peace. I do not believe Jesus would vote for Trump. Read the fuckin' gospels. Put that on a shirt.
And hey, calling all aliens! Yeah, you extraterrestrials out there. I may not be a starseed, but if you're listening, can you please descend and help bring peace and order? I'll take the Mark in my forehead, if that's okay. It's way cooler than hand.
Sorry. I know I got a bit fired-up here. I'm a millennial with post-traumatic church disorder. I really don't mean any harm. Peace.

This is an excellent article (by a Christian, I think?) that recaps the events far better than I did, and is rational and informative. I especially love the writer's observation of the pastors' limited "white evangelical" perspectives.
Interview that says just about nothing. Second meeting?:
